A wonderful day out, such a peaceful place to walk. The house was lovely to visit, not cheap but as entry to the gardens is free its nice to support the preservation of such a building. Nice restaurant too.

We ate at the restaurant and then went for a walk around the grounds. Breathtaking scenery. Totally understand why this was built where it was. Many tourists there, but the grounds are so large that it doesn't feel that way.
