The Muckross House and Gardens are a beautiful part of the Irish countryside. The weather was perfect for a Fall visit with a sunny day and the grounds were green and lush. The history of the Muckross House is preserved here.

Fantastic tour and all questions answered. Muckross House and its history is sub an amazing experience to hear and witness. Such a friendly place. The coffee shop / defo worth a visit and very reasonable too.

We didn't have time to tour the inside of the house, but walking the grounds and gardens was totally enjoyable. The views of the lake and abbey were beautiful. Met many nice locals walking dogs. A step back in time. Queen Victoria visited there.

We love Muckross house and gardens. There is plenty to see and really enjoyed the tour. A real piece of history that is a necessary visit when in killarney.

We were not part of a tour. We just drove up (plenty of parking is available) and bought tickets. There was a bit of a line (queue) at the ticket office -- maybe a fifteen minute wait. Access to Muckross house is via... More

You will need to provide more information. What hotel are you staying at? Most hotels will arrange horse riding for a small fee. I am unsure about clay pigeon shooting.
