Very beautiful scenery. It take us almost 6 hours for the journey of Ring Of Kerry, Facing Atlantic ocean and the water is really cold. The peak scenery was amazing. During the journey you will stop by at few beautiful town near the beach and small lake. Must experience it and discover Ireland. Beautiful country

We had big plans to drive around the Ring of Kerry, after having gone to Dingle, I feel the ring is more of a walkers place to visit, very pretty but a little dull from the car and no real centre to explore like Dingle. If you only have time for one drive, in my opinion, do Dingle.

The ring of Kerry is just beautiful! The views and scenery are out of this world! It's great for a day out with plenty of pubs on the ring!

Following the previous day on Dingle, the Ring of Kerry was a little underwhelming. Fortunately the 'extended' route on to the Wild Atlantic Way was well worth tackling the narrow roads for. We started from Killarney at about 1030 and took the counter clockwise route. The occasional coach and nervous drivers were frustrating, but nothing like as bad as some... More

First thing to know is drive it counter clockwise to stay with the tour buses, so you're not meeting them head on during this drive. We started from Kenmare (cute), used our GPS and it took us about 6 hours with stops. You don't need a GPS, however, as signage is excellent. We started out about 930am, and rarely saw... More

We enjoyed our drive on the Ring of Kerry. The overlooks and lakes are lush and beautiful. We even got to walk on the beach near the Skellig Experience. We were on a bus tour; it worked out nicely, we did not have to manage the driving and were able to enjoy the scenery.

We wanted to see all of Ireland and didn't want to take one of those big bus tours that just drive around with 100 people stop and look. My wife, Lynn, found Vagabond Tours and I can't say enough about our trip and what made it so great was the size, eleven people, and our guide, Tim. Oh my gosh... More

This is a stunning outing. It is a lot longer than it looks and if one wants to make the most of some the quaint places and beautiful beaches along the way, I'd recommend at least 2-3 nights of you are driving. I've really enjoyed the ring esp the blue flag beaches, kerry cliffs (which weirdly aren't on the tourist... More

The Ring of Kerry is one of those must-see's when traveling to Ireland. Honestly, we enjoyed the Ring of Beara more but the RoK is still worth doing. Here's the downside... The RoK has longer stretches without scenery, there is much more traffic and there's really only one point with the spectacular views. Here's the upside...Valencia Island, Cliffs of Fogher,... More
