Attending this banquet is a wonderful way to experience a castle and the food and beverages typical of the time. The entertainment was also of a high quality. The four course meal was a little rushed and we felt very full after only 2 hours.

The food was delicious, if basic. But the entertainment was great. The welcome you with a cup of mead, they presented the food with a small continuing play with music and poetry. Most enjoyable evening.

The castle itself ia relatively small in comparison with others, however, the medieval banquet was wonderful. The atmosphere was romantic, the hosts and hostesses were very welcoming and entertaining, and the food was absolutely delicious!
