Lovely little Irish bar, great place to people watch and have a nice pint of the black stuff. Live music daily.

Traditional music post 9pm in upstairs bar. Get there early to queue a seat when door opens at 9pm. Crowded - but then that adds to atmosphere. Not too refined but then this is a bar after all.

Overall an excellent bar with a good beer selection. Also had authentic Irish music playing after 9pm which was really excellent.

A glorious mixture on a bank holiday Monday night. Easily the best pint of Guinness I've had on this visit, my last day. Keeping the best for last. Irish traditional music from 2 uilleann pipes, 2 flutes and a banjo made for a great night's...More

This place is packed to the rafters with music lovers on the weekend. Talented musicians pass through here. Storytellers, too.

This is a place to see and hear music in Galway. Right across the street from the MOna Lisa restaurant (excellent food). When you walk in there is a bar, but go upstairs for the music. There is another bar up there.

Our restaurant waiter suggested we visit here and we were not disappointed. There were 5 musicians downstairs, but upstairs: 21!! Couldn't believe our ears and eyes! What a treat!

I think it varies and it's mostly in the evening but they have a pretty good website with their music lineup so I'd check there
