Been here a few times for a couple pints of Guinness! Fun crowd - lots of NUI Galway students. Not big at all - no food offered.

If you're looking for something off the tourist-path, the Hole in the Wall might be your spot for an afternoon or early evening pint. Gets a little crowded with NUI Galway students later but they are good craic. Worth having a pint or two at the Hole in the Wall.

We went there after the rain to find some warm place This place is a place for the youth when you can have good drinks for almost nothing ( less expensive pint at 2.5€) We recommend it for small budget! And that is the occasion to meet young people!

The whole in the wall tends to be the best spot to go for a few. Bouncers are generally pretty sound, great craic inside, staff are a good laugh!

I went here with some friends I was traveling with from the US. This bar was one of the highlights of our visit. There is a rich history of artifacts on the wall that are cool to read about as well as an overall friendly staff. This is the perfect place if you want a fun atmosphere!

I went there with several of my friends, and we had a wonderful time. Reasonably priced drinks and fun atmosphere - would definitely go back, and would highly recommend it!

Went here every day and night that I stayed in Galway. Chilled out pub during the day and at night theres a good buzz. Prices are very reasonable and staff are friendly . Great seating area outside as theres plenty of benches to relax on, especially on a lovely sunny day
