Glad to stop by this beautiful bay. We walked along the seaside and then down into town. Lovely attraction close to sites in town.

A destination for sure. This bay is big and vast, with a beach for those willing to endure mostly non-sunny skies in which Ireland is known. I saw it in January 2018, with what appeared to be lower tide. While large, it wans't particularly breathtaking....More

Well, if you are in Galway the Bay is a must see. Beautiful, quite and very enjoyable ! Very good view of the city also !

Took a long walk around the waterfront and is simply breathtaking. Beautiful view of the city on the walk back. Also great for getting some exercise.

I loved walking along here. Beautiful white and one black swan greets you and you just enjoy the sea air.

This is a beautiful bay, with a nice bridge and right along the Spanish Arch. We just drove along the roads to view.

Just the classic Irish bay.We were there during really bad weather ( usuall Irish weather? :) ) so there was a flood emergency but worth of the view and well spent time

Spent a week in Galway, and attended university there for a year...I love waking by the bay and seeing the daily effect of the Corrib River. One of my favorite places on earth...

We took a tour of the Galway Bay area and it is beautiful with lots going on. If you like pubs and shopping great place to visit.

We only stayed one day and an half in Galway but the city is great. We've made a walk around the lakes of the Connemara National Park. Very beautiful !!
