we went shopping the morning after a hen party and it was really nice and not to busy on a Sunday, there are plenty of great shops and coffee shops here and the Penny's is brilliant size

Located in the center of Galway, this was a very interesting find. It was easy to miss. Local guide at the wall findings was very informative.

the medieval walls are kept restored into the Eyre Square shopping Center and the experience to just sit and sip Coffee nest to this is magic!

A wonder - the old city walls are hidden behind new architecture and, as in the case of the Eyre Square Shopping Center, incorporated into the new architecture.

Within the mall, they have incorporated the old city wall into the architecture. Within the wall, there is even a shop where I was able to purchase my family coat of arms and discuss some current politics (both EU and US) with the pleasant shopkeeper.
