The Augustinian Church is a wonderful quiet retreat in the middle of Galways Shopping district. There is a beautiful shrine to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, some great Confessors, a wonderful Sunday morning Choir and a space which allows....prayer and reflection in an urban setting.

This fine city centre church is well worth dropping in to. Beware there are steps outside with an access ramp to one side.

Very easy and reflective place to read about the early members of this church. Beautiful architecture and peaceful place in the midst of busy Galway

The church is simple, not so big either. But it's interesting to imagine a mass from the priest view. Also its outside is beautiful and very cared.

This is a beautiful Church which the Augustinian Fathers have occupied for many years. There are beautiful stained glass windows and the layout is not your traditional one in that chairs are placed on either side of the small altar in the centre of the Church. There is a Parish Office attached where various religious cards can be purchased including... More

There are no pews in this Catholic Church but rather, individual chairs that surround the 3 main parts of the church service areas which are in the centre aisle, so no one person is any further than 10 m from the centre

We spotted a sign to this while strolling the shopping area. it is a beautiful church with great stained glass. there was no charge for entering. We loved the sense of peace just sitting there in the midst of the city.
