This place always seems to be hiving! Whether it's joggers, cyclists or slow walkers or the doggy parade, everyone comes out here for the views & fresh air. Lovely to have this facility so close to a city centre.

We walked down the promenade in spring and it was still super chilly and windy, so wrap up. But such a lovely stroll. Worth a look.

Just a great scenic walk with the ocean air on your face! Close to lots of restaurants and bars. Great fun watching lots of locals with their dogs on the beach too!

Great place to do some walking and sightseeing. Very clean and safe. Place must be hopping in July and August. Even in March, many people out walking. Great restaurants and shops.

Perfect for a walk, with any number of places to stop and have a bite to eat or something to drink. Very close to the seashore.

One Saturday in January we enjoyed a great stroll out to Salthill from the city centre. It was lovely to get out of the centre of town and the sun tried it's best to come out even though it was cold. Great views, really refreshing pleasant walk along the prom. Loved it

Great views of the water from here and a lovely stroll in the morning. The fog can come in quickly and the wind can be strong. It's an easy walk but great stroll for the neighborhood community too.

The Salthill prom is a lovely walk. you will see people walking the prom at all hours ,from very early to late at night. Sit down and take in the view at any time on one of the many seats along the way.

The March morning we visited the Promenade in Salthill was grey, windy and cold. It didn't rain until later so we took advantage and strolled along the seafront. It was a windy morning on the Promenade, but there were plenty of walkers, joggers, tourists out and about. We took photos, walked past Leisureland though finally, the wind bested us-only so... Lovely to walk along prom.. even from city centre, but alas all this area needs a revamp badly, yes we are coming into 2017 Summer season , all the buildings and shops and B &Bs need to be painted ...badly, looks as if last year someone turned out the lidhts and walked away. Balconies with chairs and planrs upturned...so looks... More
