Just a pretty street in latin Corner

Enjoyed this quaint street while shopping in the Latin Quarter. Nice for photos but nothing more to add than that.

Great little lane to duck into to avoid the crowds. Also has some cute shops and places to eat. It does look cute, and since there is less traffic I'd take pictures here rather than on the main street.

A narrow pedestrian lane running from cross street through to Quay street through buildings reminiscent of medieval times with wonderful windows in the wonderful Galway city. Cosy pubs and shabby chic boutique shops are through the doorways. Goyas for coffee and cake or the seafood restaurant for dinner- all fresh and delicious. Love it!

I'm hugely biased when it comes to this superb restaurant! I travel around Ireland two - three times a year and I actually arrange my client visits around this wonderful restaurant!! It's welcoming, relaxed and friendly, all that you would want in a restaurant really. The seafood is amazing specially the Oysters! I would recommend this place to anyone, a... More

I consider myself lucky to have stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around Galway. The food was fresh and prepared perfectly. Although I ordered straight off the menu, they were very accommodating to others about customizing people's orders. One of the best meals I had during my entire visit.

We had indulged in a bus tour and were told about Kirwan's Lane's history and we're glad we took a look. It's an atmospheric little area with shop fronts and pub backs but one of the shops has a collection of fireplaces that used to be blocked up to avoid taxes; this is well worth seeing. This little area has... More

This was a great restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. We were with friends from USA. When we ordered our food, the waiter told us we would need extra sides as the mains only came with garnish. We ordered 3 extra sides and he told us that it wouldn't be enough and we should have large portions, which we ordered. When... More

We had dinner this restaurant on our recent visit to to Galway. When our appetizers arrived I was a bit concerned. They were billed as 'king scallops'. What arrived was three puny little scallops which together might be the equivalent of one normal sized sea scallop. I must admit they were flavorful but at 14 or 15€, way overpriced. However... Had dinner here with friends while on a business trip to Galway. Great food, very good service, and right off of Quay street on the small side street. Would definitely visit here again.
