We are visiting from Washington State - a much anticipated trip to this beautiful island. My wife had been watching O'Connors Pub via Periscope so we felt like we'd been there (virtually). We had a wonderful visit - a genuine Irish pub feel - made some great friends. Highly recommended!!

Great pub, great vibe, fantastic Irish music and great whiskey selection. Bar staff really friendly too. First experience in an Irish bar and I couldn't have asked for better. Would recommend.

My first night in Galway I stumbled upon O'Connors. The overall atmosphere was precisely what I was hoping for in my Irish experience. After trying many other pubs around town and even many outside of town I discovered that no where compared to the experience one would get at O'Connors. The staff are always friendly and attentive and every time... More

I saw this pub as we were driving to Salthill and I knew right off the bat I had to come here. We got there early to find a comfortable seat to have drinks, people watch, and listen to some great music. I wanted to return the next evening but I was told that all pubs are closed on Good... More

It was interesting place with live music. We went there with group of people on Friday night. They have decent variety of beers, including god IPAs, but little overpriced - we payed like 6 €/pint of some AIPA. But I must say even it was dark there I noticed this place is dirty and all cover with old dust. I... More

Went there on a Tuesday evening, supposed to be opened at 7.30pm and we were there at 8.30pm but it was... closed! We asked people who were waiting at the door and they said it might open at 9pm, or maybe 10pm, or even later!!!! We asked a local shop and they said they open at different times and you... More

Visited salt hill and stopped in at O'Connor's famous pub. Lots of great music and a great buzz about the place, with both young and old patrons. Came there to have a few drinks and had a great time.
