Beautiful, 'Regency Gothick' Catholic cathedral. Definitely worth 2o minutes of your time and, unlike the protestant cathedral, it was actually open.

A visit to the ancient City of Tuam would not be complete without a visit to this splendid old church and marvel at building {current structure about 137 years old} and built in far hungrier times.

This is the main Catholic church in Tuam. It is a beautiful 19th cent. building. The stations of the cross are well worth checking out as is the fantastic plaster work on the ceilings. It is in the centre of the town and has parking outside.
