Pier is very clean, well maintained and well lit in the evening. Several kiosks to get snacks, drinks and ice cream. Beautiful scenery all around. No charge to walk the pier either.

I went for a day trip with my girlfriend and it was one the most idyllic places I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting! A word of warning though, if you’re eating outside don’t feed the birds! You’ll quickly find yourself engulfed by a flock...More

This is one of my favourite places to walk. Right beside the sea with the smell of the sea it is a most relaxing place I have ever been.

Sunday morning - East pier is so full of people. There are some building works at the moment, but there is plenty of pier left to enjoy a good day out.

The pier was close to my hotel; so I decided to go check it out. At the beginning of the pier you can visit a coffee stall and get a warm beverage to brace against the chill coming off the ocean. Also available are fish...More

The East Pier is very popular and can be quite busy. There is always some boating activity in the harbour to amuse the walker and keep your eyes busy. At the beginning you can buy a coffee or food from a few stalls or even...More
