Well, where do I start. The Gaiety itself is stunning and the atmosphere inside whilst watching Riverdance was out of this world. For anyone that is a fan of the show. You must try and see it in this iconic venue.

Beautiful Victorian theatre. Very compact and excellent acoustics. Row G, which was a great viewing distance. Riverdance musicians, dancers, and vocalists were multi talented. Some played all roles. Outstanding live music, performed with flair and verve. The dancers were fabulous to see and incredible tap...More

This timeless dance/song fest is playing at the Gaiety until early September. I don't give out 'fives' lightly but this is one. We had nosebleed seats but even so could see and hear all as the actors, lighting, and video did their magic. The theater...More

Our first day in Ireland was capped off with a performance of Riverdance at the old Gaiety Theatre just steps from Grafton Street and our hotel. The theatre retains its authentic Victorian appearance which is charming. The dancers and musicians were simply wonderful, and the...More

The theatre is very easy to get to by taxi or bus and a very short walk thereafter. It is situated in a bustling street but very easy to spot. Music was heard from the entrance and ushers welcomed you in. The plush red seats...More

If you're in Dublin and reading this until September of 2017, book tickets to Riverdance ASAP, and buy the booklet too. The theatre itself is a lovely location, albeit a bit small, but so so pretty and such a nice location for lovely Irish productions.

This is a beautiful historic theatre that opened in 1871 and was refurbished in 2003 and 2007. We went to see Riverdance which was extraordinary! What a perfect way to end our 2 week tour of Ireland! Get ready to clap and stamp your feet...More

I can't help very much with this question. We stayed at The Gresham in O'Connell Street, it was very central with the hop on hop off buses right outside the door! We booked before we left home. Enjoy Dublin.

I think my reply comes late but in case it's not I think it depends on the show not on the location. It would probably be inappropriate for a Schubert concert but ok for Irish dance.

Just saw your question and it was posted 11 hours ago. Can't send the url here and it is cheaper at theater itself rather than at ticketmaster
