Established in 1766 this shrine to antiquity is one of Dublin's oldest, most beautiful and best loved pubs, abundant in traditional charm and exuding genuine Victorian originality, the interior dates from 1881. The title The Long Hall is derived from Dublin publore as a consequence of the long narrow hallway snug, that ran parallel to the back bar. The pub is the product of splendid Victorian design symmetry in which the sum of its parts including elaborate gold leaf enhancements, meticulous handcrafted wood carvings, beveled and ornate glass all come together to create one of the iconic and leading lights of 20th century Dublin publife. Over decades, politicians, playwrights and potwallopers have imbibed here side by side. Attentive Bartenders, a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere await you. Renowned for great Guinness. Open Daily from 12.30pm.

Came here with my Irish coworkers. This pub is so cool - it's like it's frozen in time! Not that often you get to drink a pint at a pub older than the country you're from. :) Highly recomend.

The Long Hall is full of old Dublin charm, with plenty of Victorian fixtures and fittings on view. It is invariably busy, doubtless because it also serves a great pint, in an appropriately convivial ambience. Well worth a visit if in the vicinity.

Delicious drinks and friendly staff. The Guinness is great but they also grab a Pilsner on tap to mix things up

Real pub, no music and really busy, authentic pub. Great friendly bar staff can remember orders for subsequent rounds.

Brought my boyfriend for his first day in Dublin. We just loved this pub and pub is probably very busy in the evening. For anyone visiting Dublin, it is worthwhile to visit this pub and have a pint of Guinness.

This is a proper bar with no airs or graces. From the moment you enter you get the feeling that there is something special about the place. This is without doubt the best pint of stout in town and believe me I have tried a lot of p!aces. This is a must visit when in the big smoke.

We topped off our day with a Guiness here at The Long Haul. Lively crowd of mixed ages made it a fun scene. Loved the old style and atmosphere!
