Took this walking tour even though torrential rain and stayed with it to the bitter soggy end because tour guide was so good. Really knew his stuff and presented it in a relaxed, articulate way. This was a really educative experience and I felt I actually understood something about Irish history/politics for the first time. Highly recommended tour - would... More

Very interesting 3 hour walk which introduced us to Dublin, Ireland and Irish history. James has an interactive way of talking about this, keeping the group interested. He managed to be funny and serious at the same time. I learnt a lot listening to him, including practical advice on visiting Dublin, and really appreciated the fact that it was up... More

We recently took a tour with our fabulous guide Sylvie. We thought she was the best! Her knowledge of the city and its history was so helpful to newcomers to Ireland from the US! We loved her personality, her enthusiasm, the pace at which she led the tour. I can't rave enough! Thank her for us; she made our visit... More

Outstanding presentation. The guide knew his stuff, & presented it in a pleasing manner. Tour actually ran almost 3 hours, so be sure to grab a bite to eat at the break.

Booked via Tripadvisor and joined a tour with Tim as the guide. He was extremely knowledgable and planned the tour well, weaving the history of Dublin (and Ireland) in chronological order whilst showing us sights related to each event. Excellent way of explaining things, and we came away feeling like we'd had a good educational and interactive tour. Tim was... More

I took this tour today. You meet at Trinity college gates. It was a little disorganized for check in as a lot of people showed up who hadn't paid so they split off the people who had paid to a smaller group. We had a woman guide who was very knowledgeable, who was trained as an academic historian. You hear... More

My wife and I took an afternoon tour with a guide who was very knowledgable and passionate about Irish and Dublin's history. We walked quite long way in two hours but it did not seem like it because of the interesting stories that out guide told us. The price of €12 was great value compared with walking tours in other...
