    A fabulous little tour
Short but extremely interesting and complete summary of the history and culture of Dublin. The tour of the museum has been a fabulous experience especially thanks to Saul, the tour guide who talked us through the history and the many exhibits with absolute passion, sense of humour and friendliness. Highly recommended.
Thank you for this lovely review, Saul will be delighted to hear your kind words!

    The best museum in Dublin
As a Dubliner I decided to be a tourist in my own city. The Little Museum was brilliant. It was a whistle stop history of Ireland through Dublin. The tour guide Lisa was a joy. She made the tour interesting, funny and easy to listen to. I’ll be telling everyone about this fantastic little museum/tour !
Thank you so much for taking the time to review The Little Museum. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time with us. We love to welcome locals and hope to see you here again sometime soon!

The TLDR version of Irish history
Great overview of the history of Ireland. Fionn was entertaining and energetic. There are three floors. Two floors are self guided. Book ahead for tickets if timing is important. We didn’t but were able to get a time later in afternoon. Had lunch nearby and came back. Great for people who don’t want to spend their time in a museum.
We really appreciate this kind review and hope to welcome you back to the museum one day!

    Dublins Little Museum
The Little Museum was an added bonus when we did the The Hop on Bus in Dublin and we’re so glad we took the opportunity to visit this special little place! It’s worth a visit even if you don’t to hop on buses! Our guide Eamon was exceptional and made the whole experience fun! Highly recommend this if you’ve got the time while in Dublin! You’ll love it if you’re a U2 fan too!
We’re very grateful for this kind review, thank you!

One of my favorite Dublin stops
This was one of my favorite stops in Dublin! The small size of the museum makes it a very manageable stop, even if you want to hit many other city sights in the same day. Our tour guide, Saul, was excellent! Aside from sharing a wealth of knowledge about Ireland’s history, he was very amusing, provided plenty of dramatic storytelling and left us with a song. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Dublin. You’ll be glad you visited!
Thank you for this lovely review, Saul will be delighted to hear your kind words!

Dubliner Craic, delivers a concise history of Dublin
The guided tour made our trip to Dublin. Our tour guide Fionn was a star, made history fun, easy to understand and I left feeling a sense of what Dubliners are like. The craic was brilliant. Highly recommended a trip here. Would go again.
Thank you for this kind review, we’re so glad you enjoyed your visit!

    Must do!
This is really worth doing. Promote it up the order of your to do list. I recommend you take the tour even though you just mooch your way through the exhibits solo. Pauline told the potted history of Ireland through all sorts of memorabilia, posters, artifacts, jokes, personal experience, passion and stories.
Thank you for this kind review of the museum, we really appreciate it!

    Excellent experience
Small but mighty! This was a fantastic experience learning about the history of Dublin. Our guide, Emma, used her theatrical skills to make it engaging, interactive and fun. There are two other floors of self guided history to look at before or after the guided tour. I would recommend this if you are looking for something that is less involved than a traditional museum but entertaining and informative.
This review has really made our day, thank you!

    Charming, historical and memorable!
We had a most wonderful visit at the museum. It's a charming small house with many rooms filled with the history of Ireland and Dublin - and we had the best guide in Fionn who in 30 minutes regaled us with stories and anecdotes - and he even left us with a lovely song at the end! Highly recommend this quaint museum and particularly Fionn as your guide!
What a pleasure to read this review of the museum. Thank you!

Eamoh, professor of Dublin history, made this presentation come alive with fun facts, twists and turns. The museum is currently in temporary quarters but I'm not sure that anything was lost by that. Fun and interesting posters plastered the walls. Eamoh was blessed with the Irish gift of gab. This time with him was the epitome of experiencing the best of the Irish while learning some of the most important things about Irish history

I don't think it was worth it. There are better museums in Dublin for history. The tour guide, Pauline, made a comment after every joke that not enough people were laughing or there were plenty of bad jokes left, etc, which I found annoying. A few of the displays were interesting, but the EPIC museum is about the same price with so much more information that's just as interesting.

Took some visiting friends to the Pop Up location. There was loads of energy from the all the staff before we even started the main course with Saul. The pop up museum is a single room (don’t let that put you off) with artefacts from Dublin’s past and your guide explains past to nearly present day. Totally engaging and a very fun way to learn about Ireland’s history. Money well spent.

We missed this on our first trip to Dublin but returned a year later and visited on a whim one morning.
This is up there with Kilmainham Gaol as one of the most interesting places in Dublin and Pauline our guide was brilliant.

Emma did an amazing job of telling the story of Dublin’s history. She was funny, knowledgeable, and engaging. It was one of the first activities of our four day stay in Dublin and it set a great tone and context for the remainder of our visit.

I visited the little museum with my husband and 8 year old daughter. It was so interesting and because its small, its great for children to get an overview of Dublin’s amazing history. We were lucky enough to see Fionn’s presentation, he is a museum guide, he recounted key events in Dublin’s history, it was so fascinating and entertaining and he brought it all to life. Brilliant and definitely worth a visit!
