I was there with my 2 year old daughter and I am very impressed. First of all the children's menu is excellent, tasty and freshly prepared comparison to other lazy restaurants. The waiting staff was super attentive and smiles a lot. They ensured that all our needs were taken care off. The food was of high quality and reasonably priced.... More

We visited Greystones to fill a bit of time waiting to travel to Dublin airport. We're glad we discovered it. It's the next resort down from Bray and the contrast between the two towns is very obvious. Bray was a bit like Weston Super Mare (but better) it's slightly Victorian in style, a little run down, very clean, nice frontage... More

Rather exposed, not too clean, water doesn't really get deep, probably refreshing as other writers put it, but still not good enough. Nice view from here though, just sitting on a nice stretch between Baldoyle and Sutton. If I as personally going to choose a beach around here I would go for Skerries or Loughshinny before here any day.

A great spot for a swim. There are changing areas around the Martello tower or there is a public bathroom if prefer. Handrail with steps leads you into the cold water. There was a bit of seaweed but not enough to bother. Plenty of locals braving the water. Loved it

There is nothing better than a stroll along the beach at Seapoint at night particularly when there is a full moon in the sky. Its generally very quiet at this time of day. On a warm summers day the beach is usually packed with locals getting in for a dip but its certainly worth getting down there for a dip... More

This is a great spot to swim especially at high tide. In the warm weather the water is warm and you can swim for a long time without a wetsuit and without getting cold . The views of Dublin bay as you swim are great.

I am lucky enough to live near the coast at Seapoint on the south shore of Dublin Bay, just about 7 km from the city, and served by the electric rail DART. The station close to the swimming area is called Monkstown/Salthill. For those who come by car, there is metered parking in the magnificent Belgrave Square, just a block... More
