About
Since John Jameson's brave first steps into this building in 1780, we've been focused on his ambition to create unforgettable experiences (along with great whiskey, of course). The new look Jameson Distillery Bow St. carries on this ambition through five fully guided experiences: Bow St. Experience Distillery Tour, Premium Whiskey Tasting, Whiskey Blending Class, Whiskey Cocktail Making Class, and a Cask Draw Experience in Dublin's only Live Maturation Warehouse - all of which have a firm focus on immersive storytelling. You'll be invited to touch, smell, and most importantly, taste Jameson in the original Bow St. Distillery buildings. Stay to enjoy the World’s Leading Distillery Tour at this historical landmark and tribute to the craft of Irish whiskey making!

Booked the Whisky Cocktail Making class. There was 16 in the class and our host was Emily - we attended on a Saturday afternoon.
Emily was really patient and explained everything really well. Some of the class members were not behaving or listening to instructions and Emily remained calm under pressure and was really knowledgable and an excellent host.
The private room was lovely to be able to listen and enjoy the class without being surrounded/interrupted by other visitors. It was well prepped with the ingredients and tools.
We made 2 cocktails each and the third cocktail, was gently heated and created by Emily. We were talked through the history, recipe ingredients and why certain ingredients/tools were used as well as shelf-life.
At the end of the class we were directed to a ViP area where we could enjoy the cocktail made by Emily and presented with a Cocktail Recipe Book to take home.
There was a well stocked 'gift shop' and all staff we met were pleasant and approachable.
Really enjoyable experience and highly recommend for those aged 18+.

Enjoyed the Jameson Bow Street Tour. Our guide was excellent. She was informative and best of all she controlled four unruly/impolite/tipsy clients with tact so that others could enjoy the tour. Our guide stayed behind at the tour's conclusion to answer privately asked questions and provide us with additional tips. The gift shop was slightly disappointing, but overall a recommended experience.

Visited a distillery. located, as they would say in Russia, in a former industrial zone, where whisky was previously produced. But production has now moved to another location, outside Dublin. And this place is like a museum. You can try whiskey or a cocktail while you're waiting for a tour guide. The first room begins with the story of the Jameson family and how they came to make whiskey. In the second room, whisky production technology is explained and whisky tasting is conducted.

We did the Secret Whiskey Experience Tour. Josh did a great job in educating us while making it very fun. All of the staff were friendly and fun. We also had fun talking with Conor as we were shopping and purchasing in the gift shop. We were fortunate to visit on a slower day and it really felt very personalized. We had a few friends recommend this stop and it definitely did not disappoint. My wife was already a whiskey fan and I wasn’t but they definitely converted me, and we found new to us whiskey styles.

We visited yesterday and were greeted by friendly staff and were upgraded for free to get an additional drink as well! Our tour guide Katy was professional and you can tell she really enjoys her job telling the story of Jameson and the pride she has working for them today.
Would highly recommend to friends and family.

I didn't do the tour. I just dropped in and tried three drinks in the newly constructed Whiskey Tasting Corner.
Johnny walked me through a tasting of Jameson Single Pot Still, Redbreast 12 Year Old and Method and Madness Single Pot. Johnny was a knowledgeable host who have me great insight into the tasting notes along with some of the company's history.
I would very much recommend it to anyone interested in Irish whiskey.

A must go in Dublin if you enjoy whiskey. Friendly and knowledgable staff. We did the tour with cask draw which was good value overall, even if the local gift shop store in the destillery is a bit overpriced.
Do not miss the cocktail bar within! Honestly great drinks. Might even be worth a visit even if you feel no attraction towards tours.

Whiskey cocktail mixing class. I highly recommend this class to everyone who is or isn’t a big fan of whiskey. Kieran was amazing and kept us engaged and laughing the whole night, he definitely made this class fun. The punch he made for us was amazing. After the class we were able to sit down and enjoy the drinks we learned how to make and was able to meet and get to know the other people who attended the class. Overall it was an amazing time learning how to make new drinks and meeting new and awesome people. Definitely an unforgettable memory we made.

Me and my husband had the Coctail Making Workshop and yo be honest I think it was one of the best experiences we’ve had. The group we ended up doing it with were all fantastic and the instructor made it fun for everyone. We made 2 coctails and 1 warm punch and after the workshop, we had the chance to relax in a private area as a group and chat with each other enjoying our punch. Everything was great and if you’re ever in Dublin, give this a try! You get a nice booklet with coctail recipes also to take with you.

Wonderful Black Barrel Blending Class at Bow Street yesterday. Josh our Whiskey Ambassador/Guide was a fountain of knowledge bringing us seamlessly from the history and beginnings of Jameson right up to the present day. We learned everything from distillation to maturation. The really cool bit was we got to blend our own mini bottles to take home with us and had lots of tastings exploring what influenced the wonderful flavours of Jameson Black Barrel. Josh was knowledgeable and entertaining with a wonderful sense of fun. He obviously is passionate about his role and he made the tour a most enjoyable experience. We shall return.

Very much enjoyed this tour and our tour guide, Izzy. I was wondering how the surnames painted on front of the bar in upstairs grog room were selected? I was surprised to see mine, as it is not a typical Irish name….

Would love to do this tour, however, one member of our party is a liver
transplant recipient and cannot drink - do you offer any non-alcoholic beverages or mocktails? Thanks Marilyn

Yes they do. They ask you before the tour starts if you trink alcohol. If you don't they serve you softdrinks.
I'm not sure about mocktails.

All the tours I can purchase are for 12 pm or later. We have a commitment in the afternoon so 12 doesn't work. If we arrive at 10 am, what are chances we could get into an early tour?

The day we were there, tours were full and they were not letting additional people join in. Keep looking for cancellations, but I’d at least be sure to call them and ask rather than just showing up. The customer service staff there was amazingly nice and helpful.

They were definitely etching bottles, but I believe the cost of shipping might be steep. We were advised to buy it at a duty free store, as it would be less expensive but not personalized.

We are flying to Dublin for one day and will not have a checked bag. We wanted to purchase some of the special Jameson whiskey only available in Ireland to take back to us to London. Does Jameson pack whisky for flight travel to be checked at airport
