The most luxurious shops are in Grafton and then crossing the bridge you will find O'Connell which is full of nice shops. Try both

The sandstone balustrades add considerably to the appeal of this graceful-looking bridge. I like the view from the bridge toward O'Connell Street and the O’Connell Monument.

It's a fully functioning bridge for pedestrians and vehicle traffic. Views down the Liffey can be nice but not a spot to stop and look around.

It's a bridge, a wide bridge. It gets you from one side of the water to the other. That's about it. You can take some nice pictures from here, but the bridge is very busy.

We crossed the O'Connell Bridge several times while trekking all over Dublin's city center. It is a beautiful bridge and so pretty, but be prepared for LOTS of foot traffic!

This is a really cool bridge. It appears to be fairly old. The arches are very aesthetic and in good repair (some of the bridges upstream are a bit worn). Enjoy. You can see the ha'penny bridge just upstream from this one.

There are more people and traffic than anywhere in the city. Great starting point for walking tours . pic opportunities. Recommended MeuterMedia

When we were in Dublin there was a lot of street construction happening on this bridge. Hard to walk across and see anything with the crowds and construction.
