If you consider the main places to visit in Dublin, this is not in the list. You have some parks nearer to the city center. If you have some free time or you are going to kilmahainiam goal, the park is just 3 blocks away and it's beautiful & quiet

The place is a bit far from city centre, but worth the visit if you have time. It is the perfect place for a picnic or to read a book. Not many tourists go there. There is a beautiful garden e a great walk by the canal. I loved the place.

This place is gigantic and worthy of a visit. The war memorial is stately and to be expected with its sunken gardens.

Stunning, huge grounds! We didn't expect this to be so big. You could spend hours exploring. A nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city and definitely worth a visit

Went here at sunset, and was blown away by the beautiful river and rose garden. What a treat! We took a leisurely stroll on a Sunday night and were not disappointed. Make sure you go here!

Up until recently not a lot of Irish people were aware of this place, it is a place to commemorate all the Irish soldiers who have died in many foreign wars over the may centuries when Ireland was part of Britain. I come here often and always find solace in the contemplative rose gardens and to walk around the nearby... More

Right near the phoenix park and city and a nice place to walk if early, has several lovely areas including the decorative flower/planting sections which "when" in bloom look fantastic, personally id alter the selection to give more rotation on that and colour in hardy weather etc.

This is a beautiful, peaceful garden right on the city's doorstep. There's free parking. The park is very well maintained and the views along the Liffey and in the flower gardens around the main monument are beautiful. Highly recommended for a dry day.
