It's overshadowed by the Phoenix Park in the other side of the river, but the War Memorial Gardens are well worth a visit. One of the nicest places in Dublin and hidden away from the crowds. A lovely place for an afternoon wander

A beautiful peaceful place. Beautiful gardens and a wonderful memorial for the fallen of The World Wars. It was so peaceful and quiet, you would not know you were in the Centre of the City. The Roses were magnificent, it very well maintained.
