This was once a crucial part of the water supply for the city of Dublin but now it is a charming quiet retreat from the bustle of the city. The main feature is the basin and the walkway around it. You will find a good...More

Beautiful spot frequented by the homeless living in the nearby shelter. The serenity may be disturbed by drunken arguments.

Flowers blooming, large assortment and colors blended well. The smells are pleasant, no foul smells from the small pond. Able to walk around and enjoy.

I just stumbled across this place while I was out for a run, and it was amazingly beautiful! I definitely recommend adding this to your walking / running route. It's on the way between the city centre and the Glasnevin cemetery.
