So, we did the tour of the Trinity College and our guide talked and talked and talked and talked and talked. By the time we were able to go to see the book of Kells there were so many bus tours ahead of us that...More

My husband and I went here to learn more about the history of the gospel books in Ireland. The history is amazing and the works are beautiful. I would have given this a 5, if it hadn't been so crowded and loud in there. We...More

I'd say buy tickets online and skip the incredibly long, and slow, line. It is a very small but incredibly interesting exhibit that ends in the Trinity college library (gorgeous).

The exhibit on the Book of Kells is poorly designed. The most interesting parts of the exhibit were in small cases, and with the crowds, you really have to fight your way to get close enough to admire them. Some parts of the exhibits had...More

We were very interested in this tour, and weren't disappointed. You really need to book ahead, and the earlier start the better. The Book of Kells is one of Ireland's most visited tourism destinations, so an early start is best. All of the key destinations...More

It can't be emphasised enough that this is a major attraction. On busy days there are coachloads of people from cruise ships, booking on-line is essential if you want to avoid a long time queuing. We went after 3pm in off-peak time and the queue...More

First of all: book your tickets on line. The queue for purchase is ridiculous. The interpretative experience is well-researched and very interesting, but the crush of people is annoying for what it is. The book itself is mobbed and adds little to the experience. It's...More

I do not remember seeing a cloak room, or lockers anywhere. They also don't have any space to put it somewhere behind the counter. Best to go luggage free.
