Lovely grounds to the museum, and the architecture is beautiful. Very nice that it's a free museum, but the actual exhibits weren't much to get excited about. That being said, I would take people here as the grounds are beautiful to walk around and the...More

Really chilled out stroll looking at some beautiful pieces of art. Something for everyone's tastes. Worth a few hours of anyone's time, lovely little coffee shop too.

Very cool and free museum in Dublin. The building that houses the museum is called the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, and it is one of Dublin's finest buildings. This means that it's worth paying a visit to the campus, even if modern art isn't your thing. The...More

Very few of the pieces were interesting or impressive as is often the case with modern art! None of our party enjoyed the tour. Free entry was a relief. The cafe looked nice. The shop was pretty limited.

It's the type of place you visit on the way somewhere else, Kilmainham Jail maybe. The best part to me was the beautiful formal gardens. Worth a visit just to see the gardens and the various outdoor exhibition pieces.

After touring Kilmainham Gaol next door, I came here. After a lovely walk down through a huge garden, you enter a building that looks a little old on the outside but is completely modern inside. Entry is free - even the lockers! - although it...More

Yes they are in English as that is the main spoken language in Ireland. But in my opinion, you are wasting your time visiting this museum.
