I love this space and some of the exhibitions here are my most memorable. The current Freud one is wonderful.

Staff were not interested in guests - very into speaking to one another not the public. Free exhibitions extremely limited. Not a friendly place!

As an art lover, I don't particularly rate this gallery, but that's down to my personal preferences. To be honest I was more interested in the building.

Went with my conservative family of 5 and we were amazed at what some call art now days. The menstruating woman and the children like drawings of killing was a little over the top.

The surroundings of IMMA, The Royal Hospital Kilmainham (RHK),should be enough to attract a visit and pleasant tour of the buildings and gardens. But if you can please visit the IMMA Freud exhibition while you're there. Remarkably it's free. The paintings are stunning - a...More

Being a fine art graduate myself, this current exhibition was fascinating in the sense that I saw some modern classics as well as contemporary interpretations. The exhibition was organised chronologically which added logical credibility to the exhibition. However, some opportunity was lost to make connections...More
