So this fountain is near the exit of Phoenix Park and was elsewhere until it was moved to this area. It does seem quite suitable to be in this small little pond because it looks very serene here.

Great James Joyce monument for the character from Finnigans Wake. Our bus driver explained how the for the Rod to God spire. Apparently everything in Dublin has to have a local's rhyming nickname.

Moved from O'Connell Street years ago, it was quite nice to see her repositioned here. You could nearly check her out while passing on a bus!! It is worth checking out the Croppies Acre Park memorial also for a pleasant walk and spend a moment...More
