I’m travelling by car back from the UK with Irish Ferries on the 8:00 pm - still on board as I write this ! Travelling from Holyhead, it’s mainly for commercial trucks and drivers occupying the lounge areas etc. It’s quiet with most watching Premiership...More

From arriving in the port, receiving boarding cards & room key, parking the car on-board, and getting to our cabin all took less than 30 minutes! We had a 2 star room with no window. The rooms show their age, but they have a good...More

2nd Sept Irish Ferries texted that they had cancelled the morning fast ferry on the 3rd, the option was the afternoon slower ferry Ulysses which meant after I'd driven over 3 hours to the ferry, an hours wait, going on for 3 hours by the...More

We have been traveling on the Oscar Wilde for many years and after this last crossing to Cherbourg I think we will book elsewhere next time. On board the lounges and dining areas are quite nice with pleasant decor and comfortable seating. There is free...More

We have recently returned from Ireland on a motorbike a very wet and windy trip. Our fast ferry was cancelled due to the weather? (although one of the better days!) we were given an option of the 8am or 9pm ferry. We had a 4...More

Very smooth checking in and easy to board, park and get on the ship! Plenty of places to sit (try and get on early to get a spot with a plug!). Decor is a bit dated. There is a children's play area however it's more...More

I have travelled on Irish Ferries on numerous occasions over the years, most often to Britain, Holyhead to be specific. The Ulysses is such a comfortable vessel with a really nice bar and restaurant area. The food is pretty decent and there are actually a...More

Travelled from Holyhead to Dublin, on the Ulysses, club class: very good. Returned on Epsilon, no club class, facilities very limited, quite poor. We would not travel on the Epsilon again. Not good value, relevant to the other ferries available. We are regular travellers across...More

The kennels on the Jonathan Swift are absolute disgrace. Just a row of plastic dog boxes lined up on the floor. They are situated right beside the cars and by the actual loading door. Horrendous and should not be allowed.

Travelled with Irish Ferries numerous times, mostly very swift loading and unloading as well as on time. Small on board shop which is ok if you've forgotten a little something for a relative! Seating areas are looking a bit tired. Club Class is well worth...More

They were right by the car parking and i had a look as we passed. Looked ok and big cages. The area was narrow so dogs would be facing each other in cages i think but it was calm and quiet and that speaks volumes
