Visited on Sunday afternoon. Was very quiet when first arrived but soon filled when the music started. Very enjoyable atmosphere with a really friendly landlady who came and had a chat with us although got the impression she doesn't take any nonsense. I thoroughly recommend a visit.

The atmosphere is wonderful. The bartender was extremely friendly even when some of the guests were not quite as welcoming to non locals. Good Prices! Get a pint and little break in this small town feeling get away.

We stumbled upon this little pub, which was very tiny...not much room to move. Maybe the room is 40 X 30 feet? Anyhow, we went in because we were tired and just wanted to have a quick drink. No airs or grace about Charlie's Bar. It is what it is, a nice, quaint Irish pub, with decent beer, friendly staff, friendly locals and reasonable prices. You can't go wrong with a place like this, it's definitely worth stopping in for a pint In a bit! Stephen

Great atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful, Guinness served to perfection. The place is a bit grubby tho and toilets downright gross.
