Male dressing room was tiny compared to overall space, no sign to tell you to put €1 in to make locker work. Signage is the same colour as the walls - try finding your way around w/o glasses.

My therapist Jill for Facial a delight to meet. Her experience truly shines. Excellent 75 minute treatment. Pre foot spa prior to facial. Florian products. Beautiful scents from them. Extremely comfortable therapy bed to cater for all figures. Apres facial shown to quiet sanctuary looking out to little woods and beautiful skies. 11 relaxing beds available all beautifully appointed so clients have a view. Selection of fresh melons. Yoghurt smoothie and juice freshly made given to livenn your taste buds. Chilled there until my next treatment.

Stayed at the Hotel with family. It was a special occasion. It was a great experience from check-in to departure. Our bedroom was beautifully presented. We dined with friends in the dining room. Food, atmosphere and service was top class. The wine wasn’t bad either. Had to finish off the night in the bar and the bar staff were extremely professional and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food on offer, freshly cooked or from the buffet. The grounds are magnificent with lovely walkways around the forest and waterfront. We thoughedly enjoyed our stay at the Fota Reort. Complements to John O’Flynn and his team.

The hotel has everything, stayed in the lodges, got food delivered. Did not like the open plan in the back garden as the wild child was too eager to escape. But would go back

We had an amazing time. Stayed in the loges, perfect for our needs, spacious, modern, very clean and well equipped. Really good playground nearby. Loved swimming pool, used it everyday. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Hotel itself was beautiful, really nice decor and very cosy. Very stylish bar and served good food. Grounds were lovely, well maintained and lovely at this time of year. Location good and lots to do nearby, wildlife park and leahy's farm!! Will definitely be back, loved it!!!!

I had a full body Swedish massage it was lovely but I felt a little rushed, I was told I had half an hour before my treatment so I nestled into the hot stone chairs and was called in before I'd opened my magazine

Had wanted to stay here for a while now and it had been a long time since our last break away so this was a much looked forward to trip.
We got to the hotel a little early but our room was ready, we were checked in quickly, however we weren't told where the leisure centre was and had to ask where breakfast was served the following morning.
We got to our room which was lovely and we were very happy with.
We decided to go have a nice relaxing swim and dip in the jacuzzi, so after finding the centre, signing in and been given our towels by the girl on reception, off we when. It was at this point that any idea of a relaxing swim went out the window!! The changing rooms where packed with mams and babies, so much so that there was no lockers and very little room to change. Now I have nothing against mothers/fathers and babies swims but it was impossible to have a swim and very loud so not that nice in jacuzzi either, if we had been told when signing in that it was full with this swim then we would have come back at a later time.
So after a very short dip on jacuzzi we left and changed and went for a walk. I have to say the hotel and grounds are stunning and can see why it would be so popular for weddings. The golf club had a private function on ( again we were not told of this, just a sign on the door) so we went back to the main bar which again was full of kids, we had a quick look at the menu but thought it was overpriced for what you get (€17 for toasted sandwich). We left the bar and came back after 9 thinking most of the babies/ toddlers would be in gone but unfortunately this was not the case, in fact as we left at 11.30 there was still babies crying in the bar. I know this is not the hotels fault but if your looking for a nice break away from the kids to relax then don't pick here
