Superb setting in remote location. Unspoiled. As nature intended. Bit of a drive on single track switchback road from Tobermory.

Nice beach with clean water and not too much seaweed. A nice breeze was enough to fly a kite. The car park (at the north end) is not massive. Hut selling tea and coffee, etc. The road from the south is a bit narrow in...More

We parked at the gallery carpark & walked the 3 km walk from there to the pier & back. Don't miss the art in nature sculpture trail. We didn't buy anything at the shop at the beach but it said it was open 12-4pm. It...More

Well worth a stop over. 2 lovely places on the bay to camp for tents and campervans. There are toilets and a small shop open in the day.

This beach is just perfect, it's beautiful with the hills surrounding it and there is ice cream and toilets near by. There is also a nice walk along the coast next to it.

Beautiful white sands. Chap at the kiosk was very helpful. We went in May 2018 before the heatwave started but it was still a lovely time of the year to visit the Isle of Mull and Calgary Bay

A fine example of a Scottish beach, a must see for everyone going to Mull. A short drive from Tobermory to over the hills to a delightful beach. Toilets are located at the other end so brace yourself if you’re needing the loo.

Visited this beach, it's beautiful. Pure white sand, with now rubbish or debris in sight. Lovely blue sea. Loved it.

My visit to Calgary Bay was in early April, so the weather was still too brisk for swimming. I'm sure it's great fun during the summer. The water's so blue and enticing. As one approaches the beach, there is one interesting feature: a type of...More

Yes OK to have dogs on the beach but remember there are often sheep nearby and we witnessed a dog running loose and chasing a couple of dozen sheep for their lives. One sheep only managed to escape by diving into the sea... More
