Had a great trek this morning with Liz at Killiechronan. Weather was misty, which made the whole experience very atmospheric. Beautiful scenery, great ponies (in excellent condition), and a very knowledgeable guide. Did the combined hill/beach trek, was absolutely perfect for experienced riders. Great canter in the sea (wear waterproofs!), good trek up the hill. Missed seeing the eagles, but... More

Following a spectacular drive from Fionnphort to Killiechronan I was met by the delightful Liz and made very welcome right away. The informality of the stables added to the welcome. There were only 2 of us- me and Liz the guide/Manager- going out that day, so I was totally indulged. Liz catered for exactly what I was happy and confident... More

Me and my sister came in Feb for a novice beach trek. The ponies were amazing... and so were the instructors! It was just the two of us, so we were quickly made to feel at home and at ease. We both got to have a good chat with Liz, and she even let me have a canter along the... More

I had an amazing time! Liz is so kind and obviously very passionate about her ponies. The ponies themselves are absolutely stunning and are a pleasure to ride. I went out on two experienced rides and I thoroughly enjoyed myself cantering along the beach and trekking over the hills and through the forest. Its amazing seeing the highland ponies doing... My partner booked a pony trek with Liz down to the beach. This was a surprise intended to re-ignite my passion for horse riding. Well it worked! Liz was really lovely and patient with us offering some chat on the ride. She was also very prompt at responding and communicated clearly prior to the experience. The horses were well kept... More

This was an ideal ride for inexperienced riders. But anyone missing horses back home shouldn't waste their time or money. We purchased the ride that was for the more experienced riders, when we were discussing the ride we made it very clear we had been riding most of our lives and they assured us it would fit our experience level.... I'm very sorry that you found the experience boring. I have also ridden most of my life and have had many exciting rides including hunting and team chasing. Even though I do this ride most days of the year I've never once felt bored by it. In fact I feel it is an amazing experience and great privilege to ride... More

We had a wonderful family trek up the hill in glorious autumnal weather with the best views over Loch na Keal and Ben More. Liz and the ponies are perfect for family groups and riders of all abilities. There are great beach treks along the shore as well as various hill rides, and ponies of all sizes. Killiechronan is one... More

Every time we visit Mull, we do the hill trek with Liz, and every time are blown away by the view and what a fun, exhilarating time we have. It's hard to describe how breathtaking the view really is, rain or shine, and Liz and her team just make it the nicest experience every time. Our 'kids' are now 14,... More

Did a novice beach ride with our 12 and 10 year olds and had a fantastic time. Rode out onto the beach, through the waves with a Sea Eagle overhead. Just wonderful. Staff were informative, friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel very much at east. A great experience for all of us.
