Use this regularly great views and nice and flat to suit all ages. There's also plenty of heritage information and yardage posts along the way. No need for any specialist clothing just wrap up on a cool day.

Well kept and very attractive esplanade.even on winters day there are plenty of walkers along the long shoreline. Very good for runners. Walkers and cyclist. Wonderful views across to Arran and beyond on a clear day to Ireland.

Walking the Lang Scots Mile is great to keep fit and mobile. The views are second to none and those walking the mile are only to happy to chat with visitors and locals. A great flat walk.
