Lovely views straight across to arran. Lots of countryside walks and scenery nearby Ayr. ie. Carrick hills, rozelle

This was taken from a nearby village near Ayr by a friend. Arran can be seen perfectly when it's a clear sky. This is the typical sunsetting scenery when it's nice weather

I've been bringing my 6yo here since she was 1yo. The park has a great range of equipment that suits many ages and a lovely sandy area for those who want to get in amongst it all. Large area for running around, never have to wait to get on anything and lovely soft surfaces.

I can recommend Ayr prom and park as child-friendly, though for once we were without our grandchildren. We parked at the far end of the prom, where you'll find a cafe, Indian restaurant and public toilets, plus parking is free. We had a windy but pleasant walk along the front into town and back and enjoyed watching families on the... More

Walking along the seafront noticed this park to be very busy. Plenty of activities for families with young kids. We did not use as our grandson is a teenager. Whish this had been available when our kids were young. Need more of these places in seaside towns in Scotland.

This is the most fantastic kids park I've ever come across, if you have kids and are in the area it's a must, a free way for them to have fun ! Wish we had one half as good near us.

Play park is a great facility to stop, rest and watch the wee one's play whilst walking the Ayr promenade. Smashing swings and activities to keep small kids attention. Ps they hate leaving the Park!!!

Loads to do for the kids, parks always well looked after and quite a fair bit to keep your cherubs happy. Picnic tables scattered around if you want to make a day of it and take a picnic then head on to the beach.

The play park is situated right on the shore front over looking the sea across to the Island of Arran. There are lots fro the kids to play on even when it's windy and cold running around to keep warm. On a hot summer day it's an alternative to building sand castles on the beach and best of all it...
