Went to the so called "Christmas Fair" on 26 November 2018. Paid 7 GBP for a plastic bag, pen and note pad, wow thanks! Hardly any Christmas items apart from some cards. Everything VERY EXPENSIVE (75 GBP for a 'hot water bottle cover'!). Some lovely...More

I am sorry you did not enjoy the recent Christmas Fair. I will be sure to pass on your comments to the event organiser and I am sure they will consider them when planning the event for next year.

Great place to visit but be aware that from the beginning of November you can only see the grounds and gardens. As we were on an organised trip, we had a guided tour of the house which was both informative and humourous. Lovely decor inside...More

It is a big imposing building but very decorative inside with grand state rooms, a long gallery and a corridor filled with strange artefacts. Adjacent to the house is a small raised area called Moot Hill where many Kings of Scotland were crowned and where...More

We went with some friends, the house was very interesting and guides helpful and knowledgeable. A coffe and sandwich in the cafe was most satisfying.

Fantastic show! Brilliant, acting, lighting and make up. Going through the Palace maze was so so scary, held tight to my friend. Careful with young children as there are many many frights on your journey round. Wonderful entertainment , roll on next Halloween .
