The Mill of Kellas trout fishery is Scotland’s newest trout fishery and is also a trout master’s water. Opened in July 2009 the fishery comprises of two fly lochs and one bait loch. All the lochs are re-stocked weekly with fish from 2.5lbs in to double figures. All fish stocked are grade one fish supplied by Belhaven Trout Company. All the lochs are fully accessible by wheel chair.

Had an excellent days fishing with a friend at this great fishery. Clean and well laid out. My friend who had only fished a few years also had a great time and caught two. Cant recommend this place highly enough.

The set up is good and the location quite beautiful. There was lots of guidance available for beginners. The equipment was of an acceptable standard, albeit well used. The catching fish bit of the operation was a bit disappointing, however. Whilst I appreciate that skill...More

Not usually being trout fishers my youngest and I risked a visit to this fishery for an hours casting practise, on arrival our helpful host advised us on appropriate flies and 3 hours later we had to be dragged away!! Great fun in lovely surroundings,...More

This place may be out of the way but when you get there "WOW" no wonder they keep it a secret of the glens its out of this world. The grounds alone are kept so perfect its like a front lawn at a stately home....More
