Max took my son (aged 16) and I up the Ledge Route on Ben Nevis. He was patient, safe and knowledgeable and we would heartily recommend him for anyone seeking to go winter mountaineering on the Ben. Thanks, Max, for a great day out.

Spent an enjoyable day on Ben Nevis with Max. He made sure we were well prepared before setting off. Max was a pleasant walking companion and I enjoyed the bits n bobs of local history he was able to share as we walked.

Could not recommend Max highly enough. He was very knowledgable about the mountain and made us feel very safe and informed. He was also lovely to talk to and very chatty which is so important when you are hiking with someone for an entire day!...More

This was my second guided scramble with Max. I enjoyed the Aonach Eagach with him so much last year that I asked him for a recommendation for a similar day this year. The choice was Curved Ridge on Etive Mor - and it didn't disappoint!...More
