If you arein the area then definitely visit the ruins of Inverlochy! We really love history and old castles/buildings so although there isnt lots there to see, the information boards were informative and we enjoyed looking around and getting some pictures

This was a nice stop to walk around and get pictures of the river and the ruins of the castle. There isn't an admission fee and it's very well kept.

A bit isolated from the rest of the attractions in fort william but worth the walk. Interesting history boards explain the castles history although herrass fencing cudely obscuring certain photo ops is a draw back

Old demolished castle, next to the river, about 5 km from fort william, the exterior walls remain and the outer gardens are well-kept.
