We enjoyed our drive out of Inverness along the river. There were several areas where you could stop and enjoy the river up close. It was very quiet and peaceful. I would recommend for a relaxing stop.

Great for taking a long and relaxing walk. Peaceful. However, could have a few more benches to sit down inbetween, because we really took a long hike. But the view made up for it. Now and then boats passed by.

A small river walk on the evening along the Ness river, just in time for sunset and the evening bell chime from the cathedral.

We drove along the banks of this river and enjoyed spotting a variety of wild life, less commercial than the loch!
