Visited with my girlfriend on the last day of our holiday. We knew the tours stopped at 4pm on a Friday and that a tour would be at least an hour, unfortunately we got caught in traffic from our previous attraction and didn't get there till 3:10pm. Regardless of this we are still able to get a tour of the... More

Our tour guide was awesome and it was great to see this non-commercialised old school distillery looking after the loyalty of their workers and the traditions of the whisky distilling process. I am not a whisky drinker but loved the tour and the tasting. Would recommend to anyone. Very reasonably priced too.

Only ever been to this distillery so cannot comment on others in comparison. Paid £20 and had full 6 tastings in the 'Sensory Room' following a tour. Tour was very informative and allowed photography in most places. Well informed guide. This is an actual working factory as opposed to a tour. Met the barrel cooper and looked at his work.... More

Staying in Aviemore, this was a great morning out. The scenery on the drive to Tomatin was great. The tour of the distillery informative and enjoyable for our 6 and 11 year old kids as well as us adults. Finished off with tasting for non-drivers and a takeaway for drivers. Thank you Tomatin.

We got the bus from Inverness, which was a nice journey through the countryside, but was £16 single trip for two of us. We went on the £8 tour which included some tasters at the end. It was great, the staff were really friendly and very knowledgable. It was laid back and surprisingly interesting, even for us non-whisky drinkers. You... More

Awesome distillery tour at Tomatin. Fiona was a fabulous guide and very knowledgeable. By far one of the best tours we have been on. Make sure you book ahead to receive the most suitable tour choice for your group. Very accommodating for us whisky enthusiasts. Nothing too much trouble for this friendly, down to earth distillery. A real gem. I... More

We aren't whisky drinkers, but decided to go for the tour out of interest. The tour was great (although there was some confusion which tour/what was included initially. 5 stars if this didn't happen). It was great to see the making of whisky and learn about the malt and casks. There is a surprising lot to it. As a smaller... More

Visited the distillery today whilst staying in nearby Nethy Bridge on holiday. Phoned first to book on the 2hr 'Taste of Tomatin tour'. Luckily for us we were the only folks on the tour with our fantastic guide Hedy who was welcoming obviously knowledgeable and interesting. Great experience to walk around the whole distillery whilst having the process of fine... More
