Highland Aviation Museum is a family friendly, educational attraction just next to Inverness Airport. You can see a range of real life historic military aircraft and even go inside & pretend to be a fighter pilot. For the more avid enthusiasts, there are a wealth of technical facts and historical artifacts to browse. Our displays contain materials dating back as far as WW1. Come along to enjoy a great couple of hours.

Advertised as being open on bank holidays but when we turned up on Spring Bank holiday Monday it was shut. Also, not the easiest place to find; tiny and inadequate signage. Makes one wonder if they really want visitorsMore

Never mind the concept of joy lighting up wee boys' faces, this is like an adventure playground for boys who never grew up. There's hours of fun to be had crawling around the various open cockpits, looking for "the good bits" with switches that you...More

It was a bit tricky to find, but worth it. Kids loved climbing into the cockpits and playing games. Staff were friendly and gave us lots of info on the planes. The cost for a family was £15. Well worth it!
