Water doesn't get much more mysterious than this 23 mile stretch running through the Great Glen in the Highlands of Scotland. There's no better way to experience Loch Ness than by boat. Jacobite's award winning tours and cruises get you onto the water and into the heart of this iconic landscape. This is a whole lot more than simply sight-seeing. We've been running trips on and around Loch Ness for over 30 years and most of us live here.

Ian was the guide and driver for our tour. During the entire trip, he had well-paced comments about points of interest- not just touristy historical items, but also notable buildings and sites around Inverness. He was friendly and professional when dealing with individual passengers. The...More

Nice boat, nice people. We did just the tour of Loch Ness without going to castle and found boat to be very nice and all employees to be both polite and professional. Would recommend. Arrive early, parking is tight if you drive yourself.

Just a reminder that there are no toilets at the Jacobite Cruises ticket office at Clansman Harbour; you need to use the toilets before you leave the the hotel/gift shop area.

The entertainment and the information on the cruise was first rate. Have a beer or cider and listen to the songs and stories. the castle was breathtakingly beautiful. The information centre at the castle was informative and lovely. Definitely worth it.

We booked the 4 hour 'Rebellion" tour and this gave us a lot of time to explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle. The cruise down Lochness was enjoyable and the crew gave an excellent commentary. Fortunately we were blessed with a perfect day.

Maybe the one hour Loch cruise would suit the children. It can be boring and long for the children
