Overview
More
The Spey Valley Championship Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 course that meanders through ancient Caledonian pine forests and along the banks of the sparkling River Spey. Some of our holes are famous for their outstanding natural beauty; our 5th hole boasts the longest hole in Scotland (at 635 yards) and our 6th spans a lake which has been adopted as a nesting site by a bird colony. When you reach the 12th at the start of the home stretch, the Spey Valley opens up before you like a film set, whilst the 16th presents a real challenge for even the most experienced golfer. You'll need a long, accurate tee shot to carry the water hazard and the flowering purple heather is standing by to punish a poor shot. However, the most spectacular of all has to be the 18th; with its two bunkers designed to mirror the undulating corries of the mountains beyond, this is our raison d'être.

A nice course but make sure you have lots of balls! Challenging holes with very little room for error. Liked the picturesque nature of the course. The clubhouse was lovely so worth make use of this.

A championship golf course.... Not in my opinion.. The condition of the course, the greens and the paths need some serious work... The excuse was the winter ... Not true played in Inverness the day before on perfect greens and an immaculate course ... And to...More

Had the chance to play here earlier this past week when weather was benign in that it was relatively windless and not too cold! This course is up there with the very best in terms of layout and scenery. For those of you who know...More

We got lucky with the weather, making this one of the most memorable games of golf for a long time. The course is beautiful, challenging and long - for good golfers it's a must! I definitely recommend a buggy, because there can be long transitions...More

Returned to this majestic golf course with three friends from Inverness. The weather was glorious, with breathtaking scenery and the course in magnificent condition. Under these conditions I doubt if there is a better golf course anywhere in the country. My day was made more...More

This is a lovely course to play and enjoy the scenery. I have played it quite a few times now over the last few years but still enjoy it just as much as i did the first time. Its a fairly long course but it...More

Arrived as part of a group of 25 on a glorious Saturday morning. If you get the weather the setting is stunning. The course is challenging and long but then it is a championship course. The clubhouse is small but elegantly furnished with wonderful views...More

I wouldn't say that I'm a well travelled golfer, but if I could only play one course again it would be this one. Okay, it's very long, bunkers are deep, greens slopey, and it can generally make you look like an idiot. But it is...More

Lovely course but be warned, it is long. It can be over 7 miles in length if you play down the middle of the fairway. Who does that !!!! Really suggest you take a buggy. The course was in very good condition. Not at all...More
