Fantastic opportunity to watch wildlife in natural surroundings. We saw pine martens and badgers close up. The guide was excellent and it was a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend an evening.

A knowledgeable guide, a warm hide, and (almost) guaranteed wildlife. We saw wood mice, pine martens and badgers, plus a tawny owl as we were leaving the hide. All a bit contrived with the food being laid out for the animals, but a sure way...More

easy to book, easy to find (the directions provided were spot on). John, our guide, was friendly, informative, homourous. The hide was warm and cosy. And the wildlife didn't disappoint, despite the awful weather. Loads of badgers literally right outside the window and pine marten...More

We visited the hide on the 29th March, and wow, what a hide. Not what we were expecting at all. Fantastic facilities. We saw five Badgers and two Pine Martins. The Badgers turned up pretty quickly, and the Pine Martins after about 1.5 hours. Brilliant...More

Guided visit to wildlife hide in Rothiemurchus area. Great sightings of badgers, then pinemartin. Guide gave excellent information in a friendly manner. Fabulous experience. We saw 5 badgers and 2 pinemartin.

We loved seeing the badgers, pinemartins and mice. We were lucky enough to see 3 pinemartins, each at least twice and 4 badgers, all several times. We were entranced. John was such a knowledgeable guide and good companion for the evening. Cannot rate this experience...More

There's animals all year round but apparently late June is especially good as there are many youngsters
