Came across the place by accident and weren't we pleased. Decided to have dinner and listen to some music. Weren't disappointed at all. One of our party is coeliac and though they had run out of gluten free buns/bread they went to a lot of trouble to make sure that he was well accommodated. Let's just say, he didn't starve... More

Finally able to tick king tut's off my gig venue to do list. Best venue I've been too, well worth the wait. Bar downstairs is also worth a visit for a drink or 2. Food looked good too.

Went to a show in King Tuts recently and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The venue is small but intimate and the engineers get a fantastic sound for such a small space! The walls and stairs are covered with bands that have graced the venue before with 100s of huge well known names having played here before making it big, all... More

Went here for the first time with my daughter to see a gig - Rationale. Band were amazing and the venue was brilliant as was cosy and intimate. I was worried about going to see a band being a bit older, but I didn't because of the venue.

The atmosphere saved the evening. The venue itself seems to be somewhat relying on its famous reputation, however nothing on the night convinced me that it's currently worthy of it's "best small gig venue" label. Socks need to be pulled up a little. The place needs a refresh, the door staff need to lighten up, and the beer was shocking.... More

Just in for a pint with a couple of pals on a Tuesday afternoon. Seemed like a cool wee place, loads of great bands have played there and there is a lot of interesting memorabilia decorating the walls. Be good to go back when it's busier.

I booked King Tuts for two reasons initially, close to the hotel and the sound of the menu which appealed to both my sense of humour and love of music. The venue had a relaxed easy going feel about it and we were met by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our table. The food was... More

i had been to king tuts twice before and the third time I went me and my friends were denied access. I feel the venue itself isn't big enough for the amount of people they let in so crowds end up being too cramped. However I didn't question when thinking about going to jaws. I went to go in with...
