The house is interesting but the current photography exhibit of Harry Benson's work is outstanding. The grounds are magnificent with a lovely walk in from the road. There are Highland Cows to see and lovely soup, sandwiches, and daily specials to tempt in the restaurant.

Great outdoor space - ideal for walking; jogging or simply sitting in the gardens. Pollok House has a lovely café with a varied selection of treats! Good photographic exhibition on (Harry Benson) until the end of the year. Burrell currently closed for refurbishment.

Visited Pollock House yesterday to view the Harry Benson exhibition. House is lovely but badly in need of some work, it’s clear that NTS is trying to keep up with the renovations. Formal gardens are full of weeds which is a shame. We had lunch...More

Great images of celebs - The Beatles, US Presidents and old images of Glasgow! displayed in the top floor of Pollok House. I also did the tour which takes in the Butlers Pantry and the Gun Room. A real "upstairs downstairs" experience.

We visited the Pollok Estate and Country Park on a guided tour of Glasgow and a wonderful stop it was. The park and surrounding were beautiful and it was a great stop for coffee and a scone. If visiting Glasgow make this a required stop.

A great day spent, enjoyed the beautiful park and the estate. Lots to see and walk around. Recommend Pollock house, there is a ticket but its worth it. Clear day is a plus.

What a beautiful country park within Glasgow. A park gifted to the people of Glasgow and managed by the City Council. Oh How I wish it was better looked after. The beauty of the grounds with a river flowing down the middle to the historical...More

It's a really beautiful park for a walk, but the coffee is a bit dire... A definite yes for a visit but maybe have a tea at the cafe!

yes, you can just visit the tea room within Pollk House. It's in the restored kitchen of the estate house and serves lovely lunches and cakes. On a nice day you can also sit out in the garden terrace. try it!
