So so disappointed definitely won’t be going back I went there hoping to see this huge bridge thinking it would be perfect for a place to play hide and seek but to my dismay it was tiny and absolutely nowhere to hide my friends where in tears we had spent hours travelling to get there the journey back home was so quiet so disappointed

Having visted Glasgow in search of the mythical squinty bridge, I turned up at the Clyde Arc to find out it really wasn't that squinty! They should call it the 'at an angle bridge'. However, there was the added bonus of free music when we visited in July as a marching band was there playing music....

The squinty bridge as its known locally is a very photogenic bridge, as well as being very practical for easy access in to the city centre.
It is used by traffic and pedestrians and provides a great photo spot for many of Glasgows iconic buildings like the SECC and Hydro. Its definitely worth visiting!

This is a beautiful bridge over the river Clyde.
It's crossable for both vehicles and pedestrians and it provides some lovely views of the architecture on its banks.

The Clyde Arc , known also as the Squinty Bridge, is a road bridge spanning the River Clyde in Glasgow, connecting Finnieston near the Clyde Auditorium and SEC with Pacific Quay and Glasgow Science Centre in Govan. Fantastic location, really photogenic place in Glasgow. One of the best views in Glasgow. Great place for lovey riverside walk or just chill for a while. It looks as much good in day as night. A must must must go place if come to Glasgow.

I walked from the Tall Ship along the Clyde Walkway on a beautiful crisp day and saw this bridge close up for the first time.

Great reflections and contrasts against the beautiful clear blue skies.

We saw the bridge over the River Clyde while on a tour bus from our cruise ship. The structure is different and pops on the landscape from all around even from far away.

Really impressive structure, with great refections.

I got some great photos on a still day, with its reflection on the water.
