I came upon this catholic cathedral whilst strolling along the river Clyde. It is beautifully decorated, clean, warm and with a welcoming feel. At the side is a contemporary 'cloister garth' with an interesting pool, fountain, abstract metal sculpture.

I had the great pleasure to attend this beautiful building some years ago to be part of a special service. At the time I was awed by what was happening & it was only when I returned a year later that I really got a good look at the amazing architecture sat just a few metres from the great river... More

The Cathedral is about 10 Minuets walk from the city. Well worth a visit Entrance is free but they like a donation. There is a shop inside the Cathedral.

A truly magnificent building located on the banks of the river Clyde. Impressive gothic design. Lovely details. Couldn't go inside because it was closed and opens at particular hours. Thought I'd be able to return later but didn't. I'm sure the inside must be amazing!

As I was visiting the city I thought I would drop by St Andrew's Cathedral as I had not visited before. Wonderful place to visit - peaceful and scerene and beautifuuly decorated. Unlike many Anglican Cathedrals there is no charge to visit and the cathedral welcoems everyoen and anyone. As a result of the huge Italian Community in the city... More

The qualtiy of light in the cathedral on a dull day was striking. There are 2 side chapels with very interesting history An organist was practising when we were there, most enjoyable

My wife and I arrived at Glasgow International at 2:45 PM on a recent October (2016) Sunday. I was hoping we would be able to attend the 5:15 mass, which we did. This was our second trip to Glasgow together, our first being in 2010 while attending the World Championships of Irish Dance at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. My... More
