Birthday night out with friends at The Full Monty Having seen the film a number of years ago though this would be a really good night out. Got that wrong, it was at best average However that didn't really matter because we couldn't hear it anyway the sound was practically non existent especially when they were talking side on. The... I had a great night at the theatre last night. My party and I were sitting in the upper circle and even though the show was average in my opinion, we got what we paid for and we could not have been more helped by the staff. What has put me off from returning to the theatre is the level... More

We were at this Theatre to see 'The Full Monty'. Cant fault the show it was really good but we were on the top tier and I would not recommend this for anyone with a fear of heights or who has mobility issues. Really found all those stairs a struggle(no lift ), and they are pretty steep. The drinks were... More

Myself and two friends visited the theatre for the second time, the first was to see Grease. On both occasions we have found the sound quality to be poor. On the last occasion luckily we were sat fairly near the front however we still struggled to hear a lot of what was being said on stage. There were people calling... More

The show was really good but was wasted by the fact that they seemed to be having issues with sound. It was very difficult to hear what the actors said and we were in the stalls near the front. The audience clearly were not happy as they kept shouting out that they couldn't hear but nothing seemed to be done... More

Currently at the Kings Theatre performance of 'The Full Monty' and it is the worst theatre experience I have ever sat through. No one in the party I am with can hear a single thing nor can the ladies infront or behind us. People are leaving because the sound is that bad, it's outrageous. Do NOT go and see this... More

We have enjoyed a few shows here, usually in the form of a pre theatre dinner and a show but, on this occasion, we went to a Saturday matinee and had a wonderful afternoon alongside a packed audience who also knew this is a gem of a place to visit and appreciate. We saw Made in Dagenham, which was brilliant!

We attended this amateur production by PMOS on Thurs 23rd February. It was brilliant and put many professional shows in the shade. It's a great pity it was only on for three days. The cast were very slick and the characters were portrayed with great feeling and humour. This production deserves a tour! Well done.

Have visited this beautiful theatre many times and enjoyed numerous Musicals and Plays. All the shows have been fabulous and so entertaining. They offer many different types of entertainment all year round like Pantos, Dramas, Tributes and of course many and Musicals. The Theatre itself is really lovely with all its grand carvings and rich colours. I highly recommend a... More
