I wanted to take a train journey after attending a conference near Glasgow. This route seemed to fit my need for a day's journey that would allow me to forget about the world. I did preassigned seats, though I'm not certain that I would again....More

We travelled on a special price ticket £5 each way from Dalmuir (a short bus ride from Glasgow Airport) to Rannoch Moor. Both ways the scenery was spectacular, it was a wonderful way to see this area of Scotland in all its beauty. An unforgettable...More

Incredible train ride through the west highlands. The mountain ranges, the fields, the lochs, superb. The train is comfortable and clean. Photo tip - place your camera/phone directly onto the glass to avoid the reflection from the cabin. Worked for me.
